WILMINGTON — EasyVote Solutions Inc., an election management software company, has raised $2.5 million in equity, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company filed the Form D on Oct. 9. EasyVote has provided election management tools for state, county and local elections since 2015. It has expanded to 13 states over the past three years.
EasyVote CEO Ron Davis studied at Broward College and has a background in sales and marketing. He also serves as the CEO of Sivad Business Solutions, a company specializing in operations efficiency solutions.
According to a press release, $1.5 million was raised from CoFounders Capital, a Cary-based seed fund focused on software venture. The two companies plan on continuing to work together.
