The State of Mississippi’s MyMississippi personalized citizen platform was selected as an award recipient in the Emerging & Innovative Technologies category at the National Association of State Chief Information Officers’ (NASCIO) 2018 State IT Recognition Awards.
Recognition awards are given annually to honor innovation and excellence in the use of information technology in state government. This year, the NASCIO Awards Committee selected only 12 award recipients from among 31 finalists and over 125 total award nominations.
"The MyMississippi platform was created to make government interaction as effortless as possible by furthering engagement and customization on ms.gov for citizens, and it has done just that,” said Dr. Craig Orgeron, Executive Director of Mississippi Information Technology Services and State of Mississippi Chief Information Officer. "We are very proud of the entire ms.gov team and their continued accomplishments. The award is well deserved and is a great honor.
