TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — The multinational e-commerce company founded by billionaire Jeff Bezos has announced plans Wednesday to build new facilities in Temple Terrace and Lutz next year.
Amazon.com Inc. will contruct a new, state-of-the-art Amazon fulfillment center in Temple Terrace and a new delivery station in Lutz.
The new fulfillment center, located at 8706 Harney Road, is anticipated to launch in 2021. It will create 750 new, full-time jobs with industry-leading pay and comprehensive benefits starting on Day One.
Amazon currently operates seven fulfillment and sortation centers in Florida in Jacksonville, Davenport, Orlando, Miami, Ruskin and Lakeland.
